Les Roseicollis de Flo

bronze fallow

The particularity of fallow is to have red eyes, as well in pale as in bronze fallow, but in bronze fallow, they are generally darker, you need sometimes light to see red eyes or flash for pictures.

Breeding tips

This mutation is particularly difficult to breed and relatively weak, it is found only from the collectors.
It is better to make more resistant birds, to breed mutant with split or better split with split.
The problem of split by split, it is statistically we get a lot of possible split ( to test ideally with a mutant).
To save time, we could breed mutant x mutant, but it is not recommended, the chicks these couplings are a priori puny. I think maybe to try one time, to see the result.
the mutants can be paired à with wild color ou primary mutations acting on mask color (opaline, aqua, orange mask etc...) with good size to make nice split birds. The color of this mutation looks like cinnammon, but it is best not to mix them, combo cinnamon bronze fallow giving a yellowish bird like pale fallow, with less charm. I also not recommend to combine with pallid or ino where in the latter case the mutation is (probably) almost completely hidden.

My objectives in bronze fallow

To have youngs mutant.
To work this color in opaline, orange mask and *blue*.

to try and keep a good size.
