About Us

The Caboolture Budgerigar Society was started in 1997 to enable people with an interest in these birds to learn more about them.

Members and interested people attend these meetings to discuss such topics as how to breed them, expectations from the pairings and many other useful topics.

Guest Speakers are invited which give informative presentations on topics relating to feeding, breeding, preparing and showing of budgerigars.

Our Club holds an Annual Show early in the year around March at the Caboolture Memorial Hall King Street. Members often go to other Shows throughout South East Queensland these are great social outings with many friendships made.

Younger Members (Juniors) are most welcome in this hobby. Our club prides itself on friendliness and involving our younger  members in this fancy.

Every Second Tuesday of each Month at 7.30pm

Entry to showground's is via the gate on Beerburrum  Rd

All adults and juniors interested in budgies are welcome to attend.
The office equipment, including a laptop, mircophone, digital projector and projector screen, for the Caboolture Budgerigar Society Inc. was proudly funded by the Queensland Government's Gambling Community Benefit Fund.
